St Martin · public funding
The Collectivité de Saint-Martin co-funds productive investment for island businesses, and digital counts. Few businesses know it, fewer apply. Here are the schemes, checked against official sources, and how we help you use them.
The BOOST scheme (productive investment aid) subsidizes 30 to 50% of eligible expenses, up to €25,000 of aid, for any investment program of at least €3,000 before tax. “IT systems: software, licenses” are explicitly listed among eligible expenses. Conditions: a business registered in Saint-Martin, current on social and tax obligations. Applications go through the saintmartin.mgcloud.fr portal or the economic development office (dev.eco@com-saint-martin.fr).
Saint-Martin has been an EU outermost region since 2009: FEDER applies, with high co-funding rates for structuring digital transformation projects. It is the lever for projects more ambitious than a showcase site: booking platforms, e-commerce, business tools. Note: St Barts is an overseas territory outside the EU, these funds do not apply there.
A grant application is won on the quality of its documents. We provide everything on the project side: an itemized quote, a technical description of the investment, a delivery timeline, and measurable outcomes (performance, bilingualism, expected results). Your accountant validates the tax side — Saint-Martin has its own tax system and some national schemes depend on your status. The final decision rests with the Collectivité: we always say “subject to eligibility”, and we charge nothing for helping with the application.
Bilingual e-commerce, Stripe EUR/USD payments, delivered in 14 days.
The site is still yours, with no subscription — the grant reduces the investment, not the ownership.
